Students Volunteered for Blood Donation

The Red Ribbon Club of Kannur Medical College formed a Blood Donor’s Forum on June 14, 2012. As a part of the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day observance, a mass n;ppd dpmatopm [rpgra,,e was prgamzoed nu the Club. More than 100 students registered for blood donation.

E-learning Centre opened

A tele-medicine and e-learning centre was inaugurated at Kannur Medical College on November 14, 2012. The Centre will function with the help of A-VIEW (Amritha Virtual Interactive E-Learning World), an indigenously built multi media e-learning Platform that provides a learning experience that is almso as good as a real classroom experience developed by Amritha E-learning Research Lab.

Mental Health Day observed

World Mental Health Day was observed at the Medical College on 10th October 2012. A Medical Camp was conducted for differently abled children at Shanthi Deepam Special School, Chala, by providing free consultation and medicine. 62 people participated. The programme was organized by the Community Medicine Department of the College.
