Prestige Educational Trust is registered as No. 158/2001 at Payangadi, Kannur Dist. Kerala, on 21st November 2001 under Indian Trust Act with Higher Education as one of its main objective and the ultimate aim of bringing in a state of the art professional education facilities and high quality health care education to the needy population of various districts of Kerala and society at large.
The Trustees are from among eminent Educationists, Technocrats, leading Industrialists and high net worth NRI Philanthropists. The NRI Trustees, with a strong desire to share the wealth, knowledge and experience acquired overseas with home country-India, had established this Charitable Trust and had successfully established various Medical, pre & Para Medical institutions such as a Medical College, two Dental Colleges, two Nursing Colleges, School of Nursing, Pharmacy College and Para-medical institutions and other higher educational institutions at various locations in the state of Kerala.
Hundreds of students have successfully graduated from it. Most of these institutions are established at the remote and under-developed districts of the state particularly to benefit the poor, the minority communities, tribal societies and citizens at large. Thousands of citizen across the board are now benefitted directly and indirectly from the hospital care, educational institutions, funds and resources set up by the Trustees.
